Brainerd International Raceway

The weather this time of the year can be very unpredictable.  Saturday morning started with a wet track and two accidents on the front straight, both of which were severe enough to call a second drivers meeting.

As the track dried up our track speeds also increased.  My father and I ran a pair of Grand Prix GTPs.  My ride was the modified red GTP, while my dad used the unmodified silver Daytona edition GTP.  As you can see we had fun rain or shine.

On Sunday, yes we did skip church, we got some practice in the cold dry weather until it decided to snow.  My last run was actually running in the snow!  I was one of two brave/stupid cars on the track until the organizers closed down for the day due to snow accumulation.
